Jack Daniel's is a whiskey, not a bourbon

Bourbon IS whiskey!

The only Bourbon comes from Kentucky. Does Jack Daniel's not say Tennessee WHISKEY???

This is not the right recipe. I real ones have real pineapples in it!!!

The real one does not have pinapple. I used to work there. We got it premade in bags but there was a recipe for it because they tried to make it once when we ran out and it turned out terrible!!

has anyone tried to make it or are you too busy trying to out do each other with your wit?

want the real recipe that actually taste like the real thing check out this recipe http://www.recipezaar.com/Tgi-Fridays-Original-Jack-Daniels-Sauce-179488
i made it and it is EXACTLY like the real thing and has less ingredients and is easier to make, you guys are way off with all this soy and terriyaki stuff

Why are you both arguing about a recipe? Everyone have their own ways of doing things; and one man's meat is another's poison. You can do whichever recipe that suits your taste.

Jack Daniel's is a Whiskey

Bourbon is not about location, but process.

A bourbon is a very basic whiskey, they do something extra to Jack, which means it does not qualify. Think they filter it three times, and a Bourbon is only filtered twice.

LOL I love people who argue about details on the internet...the fingers you use to show the world how much you think you know...also shows how much you don't know..oh look there's lots of info about Bourbon & Tennessee Whiskey (Same stuff made to different rules where they are made) and what about Scotch Whiskey? The Internet: Giving the socially inept a place to voice their dribble.

All Bourbons are Whiskey's, but not all whiskey's are bourbons. Bourbons come from Kentucky and are aged atleast 2 years. The process and the ingredient rachios (among other things)factor in to distinguish the difference between one and the other.
I work for the #1 Bourbon sold in the U.S.
Jack Daniel's is a whiskey, not a bourbon.
